Hi,

is there a way to shut down or disable a store? there is a scenario where the brick and mortar store is not longer there so my question is there a way to disable this store in D365. thank you

You can remove retail store from sync jobs, profile database and registers. You get a store without any settings, just for reporting purposes

I was wondering if there is a status or something that I can exclude the store from showing under the store list.

You can add a new field just for information purposes
