This morning our POS lane application won't start properly!
When starting the application, the login screen is displayed as normal, and the user authenticates against the DB (invalid logons are rejected).
However, once passed authentication, the app doesn't load. It stays open in the taskbar/Task Manager but the POS window isn't displayed.
Machine is W7 Ultimate, 64-bit. RMS 2.0 patched to FP2/SP4. Everything was working fine yesterday, and no new windows updates or software has been installed.
So far I've tried:
- Restarting (lots)
- Looking through windows event log for errors - nothing out of the ordinary
- Creating a new user on the machine
No luck thusfar... any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
