Organization hierarchy purpose

Hi all,

I've created and published an organization hierarchy, and would like to assign "Project Management" purpose to this organization hierarchy 

but when I click "add" button, there is NO any organization hierarchies can be selected...

any other settings i missed ?  Pls. advise, thanks

    Hi Phyllispang,

    You have to verify the allowed organization types at the bottom of the form (different per purpose). If the hierarchy contains other types, it will not be visible.

    Hi Phyllispang,

    Please create a hierarchy with the allowed organization type which is the Legal entity & Business Unit.

    Hi Gaurangkumar,

    Got your information, but now, i even cannot select the "Contoso Consulting" in "Project management" hierarchy purpose....

    btw, the organization hierarchy i created is just group of 3 different legal entities... so, should be the allowed type "Legal entity"....

    any other settings i missed ?  pls. advise, thanks

    Hi phyllispang

    ok, just open Organization Hierarchy and assign purpose as “Project Management” instead of trying to assign Organisation Hierarchy on Purpose.
