I am using a time and dollar batch to pay out severance pay. I've entered everything and it's all calculating properly except for one hourly employee. I can't get any earning to calculate for him with any earnings type. I've looked at his employee record compared to another hourly employee who is calculating correctly and they look exactly alike. The only thing different about this employee is he has an adjusted hire date. Does anyone have suggestions on other things I should check?

Jessica,

An employee will not calculate if the employee status is set to inactive. However, if the employee's status is set to inactive, they will not even show on the calculation screen so I am assuming that is not your situation.

An employee will not calculate if they have an check in progress from a prior payroll. You can look at the review/edit check to see if that is the case or you can use a query (SQL or Quick Query) to look at the fields CurrBatNbr, CurrCheckCalc, CurrCheckPrint, CurrEarn and CurrNet to see if those fields have any values.
