Task recordings with screenshots - D365 on-premise

Hi

Has anyone had success using the Chrome extension for task recording screenshots with an on premise instance of D365FO? I have successfully used it for cloud clients, but it does not work when I try to use it with my current client's on premise D365FO UAT environment.

Please let me know if there is any way to get it working.

Thanks

    Hello MelLake,

I hope you are doing good, unfortunately the task recorder feature is not yet implemented in onpremises deployments. Please reference the Microsoft Docs below. In the other hand you can use this feature on your Cloud Environments.

    Hope this helps,

    Hello MelLake,

Have you tried this with Edge?

Here is a recent post that describes it

    Hi Ludwig

I don't even see this extension available in Edge. I have used this extension in Chrome for cloud D365 versions.

Hi Mario, I see this refers to not being able to upload to LCS from on premise version, but not specifically to the ability to add screenshots with the extension. It seems odd given I recall being able to use the extension for screenshots years ago with on premise AX2012 so I'm puzzled why it wouldn't work with on premise D365.

    Hello MelLake,

Yes, however as mentioned before this functionality of task recorder has not being implemented for Onpremise Environments, the add screenshots is included in the Task Recorder feature, for this reason is not enabled on the Onpremise environments.  In the other hand, as mentioned previously, you can use this feature on your Cloud Environments.

    Regards,
