Hello,

Is there a way to have two reporting/stub periods in a fiscal year?

For example:

I have a scenario where one period needs to be from January 1, 2022, to February 12, 2022, and a second period to be from February 13, 2022, to December 31, 2022. The reason for the deemed year-end is due to the RTO, which lead to a change of control, so for tax purposes, I need to report these two stub periods noted above during the 2022 calendar year. Would this be possible?

As far as I know, no, I have encountered that the financial year of the local company is from January to December, and the financial year of the parent company in Japan is from April to March, and the data can only be extracted manually. Or customize some functions.

Hopefully other experts can give you better advice.
