How to create Assignment rules for leads or other entities?

Hi,

I would like to Assign the leads to users automatically based on rules.so how to create the Assignment rules for leads or any other custom entities?Please suggest me.

Hi,

you can always set up a workflow which will be triggered on "create" of new leads..

Hi Alex,

I tried.but not able to assign the record to user while create the record in entity.it will comes for only lead entity but i need for custom entity also.

How did you set up that custom entity?

Is it organization-owned? In that case you won't be able to assign it to anyone (neither manually nor through the workflow)

Is it an 'Organization' owned entity? If so, you can't :).

Just make sure entity has both Activities and Queue enabled.
