I am writing a plugin for CRM that i will need to connect to an external database to get some data

Where should i store the connection string?

    HI Alaa,

    When you register the plug-in, there is an area to pass configuration info.  I'd reocmend the secure configuration area.

    community.dynamics.com/.../storing-configuration-data-for-microsoft-dynamics-crm-plug-ins.aspx
