Ah, I see. It means that the format is longer that the number of characters that you can store in the given field. Either use a shorter format (recommended) or increase the length of the field (which may be more complicated that how it sounds).
Please try this :

Sir,
While mapping number sequence in Inventory Management --> Setup--> Parameters --> Number Sequence. We are mapping it to Shipment Invoice (Stock Transfer Invoice). Attached screenshot.
Thank You
Where do you get the error? I'm not sure what you mean by "mapping new number sequence to Stock Transfer Invoice".
Dear Sir,
Thanks for your prompt reply and suggestion.
Please find attached screenshot for your perusal. I have mapped the number sequence with ##### and the current number to be generated is 1310(only four digits) but still this Error is generated. Kindly help. Thank You.
Hi Senthil Yadav,
As Martin mentioned, you reached max value for your number sequence setup, please read this blog for details and solution blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/.../number-sequence-xxxx-has-been-exceeded
It seems that your number sequence format doesn't have enough positions for the number. For example, ABC### can accept three numeric literals, i.e. numbers 0-999, therefore it throws the error if the number reaches 1000.
