Can you search for a payment by cheque number?

Good morning,

i have sent out customer statements. I had a customer call back saying they had paid for the indicated invoice. However i have no other information than their cheque number. Is there a way for me to look up their payment by their cheque nuumber?

    Hi: Sarah: Yes, you can look up the payment by cheque number. If you go into the sales/inquiry/transaction by document screen. Type in your check number, (usually including any prefix 0000) and you should be able to see.
