Dear community
we are facing a big issue at a month from the go-live
Our SSCC Label is 18 characters but the last digit is not a check digit but simply part of an incremental number sequence.
so we set it up that way inD365 and built our SSCC label
however we activated the GS1 feature in D365 and our infrastructure guy is telling us that we must have the check digit as part of the number sequence.
question
is it possible to disable the check digit on the zebra reader?
is there any setup that maybe we can force in d365 to disable the check digit check when using the warehousing app?
I hope that someone from BlueHorse shoe can reply
we got it working ... it was a wrong setup on the physical device that was forcing a wrong parameter.
thanks for help anyway
Try to disable GS1 policies assigned to mobile device and in item bar code mask, assign it as "No bar code"
How would I setup in D365 that that barcode is generic?
GS1 barcodes defines that check digit is mandatory in identification keys, disabling check digit in GS1 you would be violating the standard itself.
You can setup in D365 that your bar codes are generic without being a GS1. That would disable validation of check digit but you would lose GS1 barcode benefits.
