Will Remote Assist eventually support Teams users on Mac?

Title says it all.

The documentation reads- "When you use the Teams desktop application on a PC running Windows 10, you can collaborate with people using Dynamics 365 Remote Assist on HoloLens or HoloLens 2 (in this article, a "Dynamics 365 Remote Assist HoloLens user") or Dynamics 365 Remote Assist on a mobile device (in this article, a "Dynamics 365 Remote Assist mobile user")."

In our testing the desktop app of teams on Mac does not have any remote assist features at all, the annotations and control bar doesn't show up, even though they can view the video feed from the headset. Is this feature on a roadmap anywhere? It would unlock many more potential clients for Remote Assist if it were added.
