One of my users (with the correct permissions) received an "Insufficient permissions" error when she tried to reassign an account. I double checked her role and the role permissions and saw nothing that should have prevented her. We are using D365 on-prem.
I tried the following troubleshooting:
- I tried (as sys admin) to assign the account myself and received the same error.
- I confirmed that I was able to assign other accounts without a problem.
- I was able to assign the troublesome account to myself, but then could not assign it to anyone else.
This is a very odd error!
Has anyone heard of this happening before? Is there an account attribute that locks it from assignment.
