Buyer group from Procurement and sourcing

Hello

We have introduced 'Buyer groups' concept for the Procurement and sourcing Team but later found out the 'Buyer groups' setup table only has access from Inventory module.

Am I missing something? not sure why this was only accessible from Inventory side as it's mainly designed for Buyers/ Purchasers although it could be used from Inventory side for planning purpose too.

Or would we have to give Procurement Team security access to this table through Inventory module?

Hi Indiguna,

You are not missing anything. Can't explain why, but this is probably a relic from the old AX3 or 2009 versions.

You can relatively easlily add the privilege or duty to your Procurement team's security roles.
