Hi,
My question is: Can you please assist on unselecting the below check box as it was in the beginning. I have selected the check box for a 2 seconds then I want to restore it as it was before and I am no longer able.

I created an inventory adjustment for this specific item P0000000120, with size - color – Site – Warehouse and the Infolog was no longer showing this item but another one. I did the same inventory adjustment for the next item was shown in the info log that has an negative on-hand. I think AX needs to clear all the negative inventory which is impossible.

Hi,

You should be able to change the physical negative inventory checkbox unless you deactivated the stocked product parameter in the item model group form and classified your product as a non-stocked product.

A second question in regards to Clearing all the negative inventory: Can you let us know why you find it impossible to clear all negative inventory?

Would be great if you could give us some feedback.

No I didn't deactivate the stocked product.

Here is the context. we are a retail company in Fashion industry. We owns warehouses and stores. We allowed negative inventory at the stores level (the check box was activated only in the warehouse profile level which is the store). We are not allowing negative inventory at the warehouse level (distribution center). So we already selected and deselected the negative inventory at the warehouse level only, but never at the item model group. Yesterday, I selected the check box in the item model group then when I was no longer able to deselect it.

Is there any way to put back the item model group to not allowing the physical negative inventory.

I assume it is the inventory model group setup,

in general DONT DO THIS. it will change all behavior of the existing inventory transactions

in general make a new one, and I think also new articles.

Hi Kamel,

We had similar problem as yours months ago - when the stock had negative physical value and tick box in item module group was ticked. To fix the the problem we had to clear out all negative physical stock and then untick the tick box in item module group.
