Hello,

Just want to ask where I specify the organization that this webservice  "http://Servername/MSCRMServices/2007/CrmServiceWsdl.aspx" will communicate with ?especially that I have several organizations created on the same CRM server.

Also is this webservice valid for all CRM versions or it had become obsolete?

Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

you should find the webservice links within the crm organisation in settings -> customizations -> development ressources

    Hello tpeschat,

I have already searched there but I didn't find it. However, when I pasted the link in my Visual Studio project, it was successfully added as a web reference.

    Hello Guido,

I also do not have CRM 4 but the URL is working on CRM 2011.That what made me wonder if this webservice is obsolete or not. My problem is that this webservice is getting the custom attributes and custom entities  of one of the organizations  hosted on our CRM and I am not able to specify the correct organization that I want to write code for. I know I can use the Organisation Webservice of CRM 2011 but I just want to find a solution for this problem.

Explanation how to add iorganization service:

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../gg309449.aspx

    Endpoints:

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../gg309401.aspx

And a code sample for a webservice for crm 2011 online:

    blogs.msdn.com/.../create-your-custom-web-service-and-integrate-with-crm-2011-online.aspx

    Maybe it provides some insight

    hello Guido,

You are right about the url :

http://servername/MSCRMServices/2007/CrmServiceWsdl.aspx?uniquename=OrganizationName .I totally recommend to use the CRM2011 endpoints and not that of CRM 4 but in my case I am supporting a project  that was already extended in this manner.

Do you have any idea if this web service still works if I upgraded the project to CRM 2013/2015 or I will have to rewrite all the code again?
