Facing issue while configuring Dynamics CRM outlook connector

Hello All,

We are facing issue while configuring Dynamics CRM outlook connector 2011. Able to fetch organisation details, but not able to connect through outlook.

Please find the below logs getting.

    If you are using CRM Online, you can run the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant which can fix this issue for you.

    Hi,

    You can try to clean un-install the CRM client for outlook and install it back using the following keys on the CLIENT Machine:

    Turn off the windows update.

    - Un-install the incorrect version of CRM client for outlook

    - Clean up the registry keys:

    - Run regedit.exe to open registry, take a back up first and then delete folders and their sub-folders if they exist

                          i. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MSCRMClientfolders

                          ii. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\MSCRMClientfolders

                          iii. HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\MSCRMClientfolders

    - Take a back up of the following key and deleted it: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{2DF8D04C-5BFA-101B-BDE5-00AA0044DE52}

    - Then delete the folder %localappdata%\Microsoft\MSCRM\ and %appdata%\Microsoft\MSCRM\

    - Clear temp files, run command %temp% and delete files at this location

    - Install the correct version of CRM client for outlook

    - Restart the client machine.
