We are trying to enter a Payroll Transaction for a Paycode with a Pay Type of Piecework. Anything over the amount of 9999.99 is not allowed. Since this is not tied to an hourly pay code why isn't it allowing a greater amount? Thank you for any information!

Most field are simply limited in length and those lengths are not consistent from one field to another. I have also had an issue where I have entered a valid value in one field, but when that value was later used in a calculation, it produced invalid data. So any transaction can be affected by both the maximum length of the field you are entering as well as the maximum length of any field that is updated using that information.
