Hi,

Is there a way to have the Markdown price to be lower than the Cost price?

For Example. The Retail price for an Item is 48.00$ and the Cost Price is 30.00$. I would like to give this item for Free. So I enter a Markdown value of 48.00$ at the Line level.

When I try to calculate; there is an error displaying: Can't have a Markdown value lower than the Cost price.

How can I go around this error?

Any help please.

In Sales Order Processing setup, under the Options window, check the box that says "Allow Prices below Cost" in the scrolling window at the bottom of the Options window.
