Cycle Count Journal

Dears,

When accepting the cycle count variances, the system automatically create a journal without determining the Expense account Financial dimensions .

For example, when performing a cycle count for a certain warehouse, we need the expense account to be posted to a certain cost center ..How we can identify the same before cycle count journal is posted?

Your Support is highly appreciated

Suha

I think what is requested here is a default Financial dimension per Warehouse, or at least an option to set this Financial dimension on journal lines before the journal is posted.

In Inventory management, you can set default dimensions per Site, but not per Warehouse. Setting default financial dimensions per site is done in function called “Dimension link”, where a Financial dimension can be set for each Site.

For manually setting financial dimension on these Cycle count related journals, perhaps someone else can confirm if this is possible. If not, an Idea in Ideas portal would need to be created.

For defaulting financial dimensions from a Warehouse, an idea is already raised and currently shows 75 votes. I would recommend, if this would help fulfill this requirement, to upvote this idea.

    Kindest regards,

    Arnold van Wageningen
