I've inherited the management of a WS 2003 server running Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010. I've see some crashes on this server, and here's on of the repeating errors in the Event logs:

Event Category: None

Description:
The eConnect for Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 Integration Service service hung on starting.

The Microsoft link doesn't load up a page, wondering if anyone has had success troubleshooting this problem.

I have the same question (0)If the eConnect service failed on server start, that opens a question. do you use eConnect? do you use Integration Manager with eConnect extensions? If you use eConnect for integrating data - has any user reported that the integrations are not working?
Open the Services page in control Panel and look for the eConnect service that may be failing. Right click it and select properties. In here you may see a service account that is used to run eConnect. Verify that this account is not disabled / update its password and see will the service start.
If you're not using eConnect - you can probably ignore the error - its just service that didn't start and if you're not using it then its not an issue.
