Loading a DLL once in SL for access by all screens

I am trying to load a DLL once in SL and call it from all of the screens i have customized; instead of loading it for each screen.  

Has anyone successfully figured out how to load a DLL just once either at SL start up or by loading the first customized screen after start up?
