Dynamics PSA - Planned Work Field

Hello,

I have been working with creation of a Dynamics PSA project, tasks and allocations using web services. (Not from the front end). When i do this Planned work field in the Resource allocation record is not getting updated. It is blank.

Then i tried to integrate it with MS Project. I was able to see all the details expect the resource allocation. When i did do a bit of research it is only visible when the planned work field in resource allocation is filled in. However this cannot be set using web services. The value the gets stored in the field is like below.

[
{"End":"\/Date(1528398480000)\/","Start":"\/Date(1528293600000)\/"},
{"End":"\/Date(1529901240000)\/","Start":"\/Date(1529848800000)\/"}]

Could someone tell me what is the formula that i can use to create this as it is a must for me to display the details in MS Project as well.

Thanks,

Charith

We finally realised how the value is kept. The start and end date of the task is kept in Unix time format. The value is kept in ticks.

We were able to get this working by giving the correct values.

You can open a resource assignment record and compare the value in the below URL, which would give you the right date and time.

    www.epochconverter.com

Please note the value is a datediff between 1970-01-01 to what ever the date you want to try.
