
I'm looking into setting up Softphone Dialer on Dynamics 365 for Sales. From what I've read it looks like you need a Twilio account for the link? Is it possible to link it directly to Microsoft Teams as we already use that for our phone system? Alternatively, if you have to get Twilio, can that be linked to the existing Teams phone system so that all our numbers don't change?
Also, am I correct that it's still Sample code and not recommended for production yet?

Hi Sam,
Unfortunately, Microsoft Teams is not supported to be used as a softphone provider with CIF. As per current design, it can only be used as a channel with OmniChannel.
Also, yes - the sample code is not recommended to be used for production because Microsoft doesn't provide support for this sample code to be used in production.
