I´m having trouble inserting images in Dynamics CRM templates and emails. As suggested in blogs, I copied and pasted images or html content located in a public webpage from IE to Dynamics CRM templates and emails. They display correctly in Outlook email clients, but not in Gmail or Yahoo. Only the link shows up, but no images are displayed, unlike other promotional emails. Any suggestions?

This seems to be more of a client issue with Gmail or Yahoo. Are there any messages such as "download all images" "trouble viewing pictures" "download all pictures" etc?

No, I do not get an option to show images. This seems to be a problem particular to mail from our Dynamics CRM, since other promotional mail with images displays correctly in the same Gmail and Yahoo clients.

I think it may be best to create a support case so that we can connect and reproduce the issue first hand for additional troubleshooting.

It could be an access issue as if you want to use images with HTML content in an email, the image should have to be hosted at a publicly accessible web site and referenced via its URL in the image tag.

Image content cannot be stored in the email body.

Starting searching for answers to the same issue, and found this thread. I know I am late to the topic, but wanted to point out what I found, and then my resolution.

The main issue for me was formatting. My hosting provider forces case sensitive, and exact matching on filenames and types. Even the file extension. So, after viewing the template in CRM, it looked fine. Send it to an Outlook client, and the picture doesn't show. I was able to look at the source of the html inside of Outlook:

Inside email, Go to the "Move" tab >> Other Options Drilldown >> "View Source" and you can see the formatting of what is being sent from CRM. The spaces in my filename were converted to "%20" and this hindered the client to see the host. So, I renamed my files and corrected public facing html to have the "%20" as well. Sent test from CRM again, and the picture are there.

One other thing I noticed early on in this same regard, was an employee tried sending something where the image was a background placed into a table html page. CRM did not like "background" images. Place the image explicitly inside your webpage, and try again.

Hi I am trying to create html mail templates in CRM. Images what i added in my CRM mail template is not visible in outlook. I was not getting the link also on the top of my mail for the user can view the same in browser. Please help me if you the answer.
