Intrastat - Defaulting onto Vendor / Customer accounts

Posted on by 30

Has anyone found a way to set a default for the Transaction nature code or the Transport type on the customer / vendor account? It would save so much time when processing data. I have been all off the Microsoft docs (specifically intrastat reporting) and have been unable to find an answer.

There are some appsource solutions but mostly for EU based countries, if that’s applicable. Here is one: appsource.microsoft.com/.../PUBID.konica-minolta-de-bs|AID.intrastat-template|PAPPID.bbbf2a35-0d30-4f25-b04b-bd3307690752

If this isn’t available for your country you might consider using power automate here. It will require a modification as the intrastat fields aren’t exposed in the standard api. Or you can have a modification in BC itself which handles it. In the past a client wanted the controls for various fields in the intrastat journal. Had a variety of multi select buttons which filled in values based on their selection
