SSRS Data Connector install

If I want to find where the SSRS components of a CRM 2011 installation are installed would all the information be in the Org properties in Deployment Manager?  I've looked in there and it shows the SQL Server Reporting Services URL.

I'm trying to find out where the SSRS Data Connector is installed - would this be the same server as the SQL Server Reporting Services URL, or could it be a different server.  If it could be a different server, how could I find out it's name?

Hi,  Yes SSRS Reporting Extension for CRM should be installed on a server that has  Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services installed. This is the server that hosts your reporting services URL.

Are you unable to see the installed components for Microsoft Dynamics CRM Reporting Extensions on that server? You can also check your crm deployment that will also confirm your report server.

    Thanks Raz,

Is it 100% that that CRM SSRS Data Connectors are always on the same server that hosts reporting services URL?

I have an issue where the SSRS Data Connectors are on a server but we don't know if they're being used.  The actual CRM deployment points to another server, which also has SSRS Data Connectors installed.

Yes the following Microsoft doc will also confirm that the SSRS Reporting Extention should be installed on the SSRS Server technet.microsoft.com/.../hh699807.aspx

Even If your SSRS is on a Different box to your CRM SQL Server or the same box this will be the case, By the way do you have a SQL Cluster setup?

One way is to simply check your CRM deployment manager to see what server is it pointing to for Reporting

    Thanks again Raz.

There is no SQL cluster setup.  I've checked CRM deployment manager and found the SSRS server it's using (which is the same as the main SQL it's using).

So, in the setup described above - no other SSRS servers should be being used?

    Thanks

Yes That's Correct, so your SSRS is being hosted on your Main SQL Server? I would log in to the other SSRS box just to check what reports are being hosted in there (just to be extra cautious as it seems strange to keep it all one the same box if you have a spare ssrs box that not being used for anything)

If that SSRS was being used by crm, There would be CRM reports stored in the SSRS Reportserver url website?

    Best Wishes, Raz
