Using Event Dates in Email Templates

Hi, I'm still new to using Dynamics 365 email templates;

I'm building a template for an event we'll be running - if i try to just get the field itself (no formatting) then I'm using this...
{{msevtmgt_event(08610863-b754-499a-8539-518915159f25).msevtmgt_eventstartdate}}

obviously that's the event GUID within that query - but that wont return anything and gives an error if i try to preview.

Is it possible to insert something like an Event Start or End Date and how would you do this? - and is it possible to format the date or time?

thanks.

    This is incorrect;

    If you put in a support ticket with Microsoft they can enable it - and have now done so for our tenancies.

    It does have the limitation that all date fields have to be formatted the same way - so you couldn't have 1 date field formatted as "DDDD d MMMM yyyy" while another date field is formatted as "dd/mm/yyyy".  And obviously you have to define to MS how you want dates to be formatted.

    Hi,

    The date field is not supported in dynamic content currently.

    Please refer to the solution in the following issue.
