Hi All
How would I get the add new + button on a sub-grid of a Custom Entity to by default create a blank record? - I dont want the Quick form or the full form to display as I have enabled the inline editor on the form, and want the user to rather just add the required records to a blank record as opposed to completing a Quick or full form...
Help would be greatly appreciated

Hi,
The sugrid + icon behavior depends on the parent lookup field requirement level ,
You can display quick create form , new window and as well as only select the lookup value.
In your case you need to set optional so that other will show you only lookup to add.

simply set the parent lookup field in your custom entity to optional.

I've got the answer of you question : on the form editor, when you define the subgrid, you can choose "Only related record", or "All record Type".
And when you choose "all record type", then on the subgrids, the "+" open the "quick Create" form and when you choose "Only related Record" it propose you existing records...
