How to use dexterity to call a dll in GP

Hi,

I have created a console application to export RM_Sales table to excel

and converted into dll

now how can i use this dll in dex

kindly explain with an example bcoz i tried using the manuals but cannot succeed.

    But what i need is  the procedure as how to call dll in dex.

    Hello Uma

    You can take a look at theb "Using COM" section in the Programmer's Guide Volume 2 for Dexterity (Part 9). This explains how to use COM to work Word, Excel, ADO, Outlook, XML etc.

    You can take a look at that and how objects are created and how methods for the object are invoked and do the same with the DLL that you have created.

    Note: You need to add your DLL into the reference on the Dynamics.dic before you can create an object for it using the code.
