Default server address of Management Reporter 2012 changed automatically

Hi Team,

I recently deployed a new management reporter server (MR2) pointing to a secondary AOS server (AOS2) and the database/data mart for MR2 was also set on AOS2.

Note:

Our production environment is using management reporter server (MR1) pointing to a AOS server (AOS1) and the database server is (SQL1)
AOS2 was pointing to SQL1

For some reason, AOS2 got down and reporter designer installed on AOS1 started using http://mr2:4712/ instead of http://mr1:4712/ as default server address.

The issue was resolved by publishing server connection from the MR1 configuration console but I still wanted to know why AOS1 started pointing towards MR2.

Your suggestions/help would be highly appreciated.
