I have a stock item under 2 seperate item codes. However both item codes have been used to sell to customer and I can't delete either of these item codes because they have been used.
example
item Description
SL-ITEM-0004001 fire A
SL-ITEM-0007852 fire A
Have I got to go to the sales order and change that first to *4001 from *7852 before I can delete the duplicate?
or is there another way to?
Hi, I vote for Block because it has the least impact and is the easiest.

There is no standard functionality that can help you here.
So basically you have two options. You can either block one of the items and continue to use the other item or you can contact your partner and ask them if they can merge the transactions for the two items for you.
It is technically doable but requires some caution.
