Where can I find a procedure detailing how to clean out a DM environment?

Posted on by 23

Hello,

I've been testing some data migration (DM) processes and would like to clean out my previous successes so that I can try again in a clean DM environment. Is there existing documentation available detailing how to clean/refresh my environment anywhere?

Thanks,

Mike

    Hello and thanks for replying,

It is definitely not for production use as it is for testing the Data Migration processes we use when provisioning a new company and it is a Sandbox. It is however linked to a Finance and Operations system too which complicates things as that too will need refreshing and this action won't reset that system (I think).

Presumably I'd need to reapply any custom solutions I have to the environment post refresh?

A good starter tip, but are there any more to cover the addition of a FO system too?

    Thanks.

    Hi partner,

Is the environment for testing only? Not for any other production use? If yes, you could consider resetting your environment.
