Hi,
It appears there are two asset libraries, one for Outbound Marketing and one for Real-time marketing.
The file types that are catered to are different, i.e. Real-time allows PDFs for whitepaper assets etc.
Two questions:
1. Will these be consolidated into a single asset library in future?
2. Are files stored in these libraries counted against the Dataverse File Storage volume and cost? (As I assume these are stored in Blob or similar to facilitate public viewing of the images/files)
Thanks for the answer, Steve.
Any thoughts on why there are two separate marketing areas with two separate asset libraries? Seems like a lot of overlap between the two...
Hi Kev H,
Q: Will these be consolidated into a single asset library in future?
A: There is no plan by now.
Q: Are files stored in these libraries counted against the Dataverse File Storage volume and cost? (As I assume these are stored in Blob or similar to facilitate public viewing of the images/files)
A: Yes, those files are stored in the Microsoft Dataverse storage and will count against their file storage capacity. Here is a doc mentions this:
