New button is grayed out , after upgrade to 10.0.8
Cannot add note/attachment to any of the entities, checked feature management to check if this is disable but nothing.
try and check if there were any upgrade errors?
Also is security role sufficient?
Entry points in D365FO detemine final security so try with system admin and could then zero on approach
no upgrade errors , also we are logged in with the admin account.
is it possible a custom package deployed could cause this
Hi Adeoye,
It can be indeed caused by a customization. Can you check your extension models if there is something changed here?
i observed that our prod environment which is still on 10.0.4 is working fine with this package , the new button is functional
but sandbox is on 10.0.8 with the same package has the new button not functioning.
any reason ?
Hello Adeoye,
What roles do you have assigned?
Are all of those roles standard roles or customized ones?
Has there been a change to your roles / security setup being made?
Do other users face the same issue?
Would be great if you could answer those questions?
Best regards,
Ludwig
THANKS GUYS, I WAS ABLE TO USE THIS LINK BELOW TO SOLVE THE ISSUE
docs.microsoft.com/.../configure-document-management
it seem the 10.0.8 had another some changes in that aspect:
Go to organization administration>Document management>Active document tables.
Under review
