correct vs cancel vs credit memo

You cannot correct this posted purchase invoice because item 03333 Mirror - Birk / Dia 180 x 7 / Grey / Leather Pereira 13 has already been fully or partially returned.

The error indicates that you posted a purchase invoice to purchase items. After that, a partial quantity of those items has already been returned. Did you create a credit memo to do so? If that's the case, instead of using the Cancel/Correct action buttons, you need to manually create a credit memo in the credit memo page.

Has the payment been made?

You can check the Vendor Ledger Entries, only Open Invoices can be canceled.
