Refresh data in Form Overview

Hi All,

I wanted to have the form (overview grid ) refresh every time after i make an update. Currently, the only way to refresh the form is via the tools>refresh.

I already use the ds.reread(),ds.refresh() in the form data source as well as changing the data source join link type to 'active' but it is still not working. Do you mind sharing any other possible methods?

    I solved it already. It just that i placed it wrongly in the method.

    Hi Douglas,

    Thanks for the reply. I changed the method to research(true) based on Crispin suggestion but it still need some adjustment. maybe i placed it wrongly as the grid keep on refreshing although no changes have been made.Anyway,thanks !

    Hi,

    take a look at

    You need some kind of research or (re) executequery retaining or finding the current position after that. Reread or refresh is not the right method for your requirement.

    AddOn:

    RecID is unique. Find on RecID will 'always' work (if other reposition methods does not work)
