Is the workflow submission mandatory in Project Timesheets?

Hi,

I was wondering if there was anyone who had found a way to disable the workflow for Project Timesheet submission.

Currently our process involves approval at an earlier stage, where we have timewriters updating timesheets into the system. We are planning out a long term replacement to this, however we are facing the issue that you can only submit a timesheet one at a time to the auto approve workflow. Ideally we would rather be able to bulk submit, as i know you can bulk post once they are in review.

Or as a workaround, is it possible to submit all the workflows as a batch job. I've found some materials relating to doing it as a flow, but open to any suggestions.
