Hi All,

Need your suggestion on the below issue :

We are in process to change BOM costing and will In-Active Route but add one line in BOM/formula as follows (done in test) and needs your urgent assistance to fix following 2 points possible today.

1 - Existing system where route is attached system calculates route separately but with new LBC (cost categories) BOM considering LBC Qty as BOM quantity and calculating accordingly (which is wrong and LBC Qty should not be consider as BOM qty).

So IF item ID is LC* and Item Group = "LC-PD-EP" Or "LC-PD-LQ" Or "LC-PD-PW" in BOM/Formula line then Line QTY should not be consider as BOM quantity for any calculations when doing Cost roll up (Price --> Calculations).

In the routing group used on the lines for those cost categories de-select the estimation flags you do not want. Although if you have costs against them and consume them the cost will still be consumed, so have zero cost categories might be an approach you consider.

Does your route carry any costs? Does this only cover machine/tool costs?

You should include labor cost to your route as well and not add them as items.

Do you have 1:1 labor cost pr. item or do you only have a start up costs resulting in a higher volume to be more cost efficient?

LBC is labor cost , Yes do not want that item to be added in calculation.

I'm not entirely following you here... I think you're describing to many customer/solution specific terms. I might be missing something.

What is LBC Qty?

You also ask for solution for two issues, but only enumerate one...

But I might get a hint of what is issue. You have an item that you add to you BOM, but do not want to be added as a part of the cost calculation?
