CRM and OneNote Security?

Hi, I am currently in the process of setting up OneNote with CRM. My concern is the security of the OneNote and CRM - how can I restrict OneNote documents to be accessed and shared exclusively for users in our CRM organization? If so, is the security settings in OneNote or SharePoint?

The actual OneNote files are stored in SharePoint - that is where you can review/set the security access.  OneNote also can be password protected.

    Hi,

I would like to add that there also exist out-of-the-box commercial solution to automated synchronization security between CRM (D365) and SharePoint so your OneNote document will have permissions based on belonging CRM record which is naturally expected.
