Shipment date sales order

Hello everyone, i have the following question related to the shipment date on header level of a sales order.

I create a sales order on 03/08/2023 and use the shipping advice /Partial/. I got the same results if i used the /Complete/ Shipping advice, so in this example i will use the /Partial/ advice. The shipment date on header level will be the day i created the sales order, so 03/08/2023.

After doing a CTP check to get the correct shipment dates on line level based on my current stock, I expected BC to take the latest shipment date of the line levels as new shipment date on header level, but it remains the same.

My question now is, why does the shipment date on header level does not automatically change to the latest shipment date that was obtained through our CTP check, which caused the shipment data at line level to be different for all items?

Thanks in advance!
