Hi All,

I'm setting up the External Catalog. When I validated the setting, it gave me these errors.

Incorrect parameter for the punch out setup request supplier setup URL. The URL is invalid. Where do I set up the URL?

Can not navigate to the external catalog site. Contact system administrator for details. Does this mean D365 needs the vendor's website? Is the Vendor Collaboration needs to be set up as well?

Thanks, Jasmine, for your response. I created a Purchase Requisition/punch out but it gave me this error, "Can not navigate to the external catalog site. Contact system administrator for details". Am I missing something? Thanks.

Hi Kim, The key to the punchout is to follow the cXML format. Please click this link and follow the format. You would definitely resolve the issue.

Hello Kim, I received couple of queries on the same. So, let me write it on this blog that we first need to Contact the eCommerce service provider to which we are integrating and GET the cXML settings from them.

They will provide a User ID and Password and add D365FO URL in their application which will allow us to connect to their Site.

Once we get the cXML settings then follow the sequence in which it needs to be arranged. I have provided the sequence in my blog: ashish-nav.blogspot.com/.../punchout-external-catalog-in-d365fo.html

I had the same issue with the URL that need to be put into BrowerFormPost,

I input the D365FO sandbox URL but has an error below:

Reading your comment, I believe that the issue is because the supplier hasn't added our URL on their application...

Got the same error message

Incorrect parameter for the punch out setup request response redirect URL. The URL is invalid: The cXML response status code is 500 and the response status message is Internal Server Error.

Was it solved by the supplier adding your URL?
