I'm attempting to copy and paste into a Financial report - edit column template. I've downloaded the template to excel and used the headings to make sure nothing was missing and then copied across but I'm getting an error on the "Show Opposite sign" column. On my template I've tried using either 1 or 0, true() or false(), true or false, "0" or "1", '1 or '0 or just leaving it blank but nothing appears to work. Need to use excel as there will many rows and much faster to work in excel.
When you are using copy paste from excel to business central it is advisdd to use Yes or No instead of True or False. This is only applicable for Boolean fields.
However the column you mentioned is not a Boolean but an option field. So in this cass you need to use exact text of the values available in drop down of that field. In this case Yes and No. So using true, false, 0, 1 won't helps as it is an option field not a Boolean field.
Also one more general advise is to keep the column which needs to be imported on left and other column on right, through personalization, this avoids pasting values in unnecessary columns.
I hope this helps.

Dhiren.
