Environment automatically rollback during deployment

Hi All

I got an issue when I am deploying package to UT environment. I build and sync successfully in DEV environment. However, when I deploy the package to UT, it always automatically rollback(I did not click any button to rollback it). When I download Rollback log, it shows me this error

"Infolog diagnostic message: 'Could not retrieve the certificate.' on category 'Error'."

"Application configuration sync failed."........

Does anyone know this issue and how to solve it?

Best Regards,

JustZM

I think there have been some recent situations where the deployments have rolled back because of some background issue - nothing wrong with your package. You can create a support request to know if this was the case in your deployment.

I have the exact same error message when deploying a package to our production environment. A ticket has been created with MS.

    Hi All

Thank you for your reply. I am able to resolve the issue by restarting the AX server. Hope it will work for you too.

JustZM, by restarting do you mean stop and start the service on LCS?

That's quite the coincidence - I was trying to update my production environment last night and I received the identical error that you did.  I submitted a Microsoft ticket for help but have not heard back yet.  Have you learned anything from this yet?

    Hi bbfen

Yes, In LCS, I was deploying to UT environment, so I can select Maintain -> Restart Service -> AX.

Microsoft replied to my ticket. They suggested to re-try the deployment and indicated that recent cases with similar error were resolved after the re-try.

Thank you for your reply JustZM. Unfortunately we are deploying to a Production environment and there is not an option to Restart Service. We will try the deployment again and see if that would resolve the problem.

Update: We retry the deployment, and there is no more error. Deployment completed. So it looks like this maybe a one time "thing" on LCS ;-)

Thank you everyone for reading this.

There was a known issue about that. The issue was fixed after redeploying the package.

If you still face this issue, indeed raise a support ticket.
