System Message 10202 - GLsetup screen 9150000

Hello,

My users are having an issue with the GLsetup screen. When they try and save any changes they get the below error message.

I believe the error is being caused by a customization (audit module) since I don't get the error in standard mode.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks

    Lewis,

Did you happen to just update from SL 2011 to SL 2011 FP1 or possibly SL 2015?  The glsetup table changed with SL 2011 FP1 adding a new field.  If your customization was built for SL 2011 or earlier, it will have to be modified for the new layout of glsetup.

If you open Visual Basic for Applications in the Customized screen you will probably see a Module for the GLSetup table that has been added to the screen.  The module will probably be named GLSetupDH or something like that.  This module defines the structure of the GLSetup table and the problem is that the module now has a different structure than the physical table in the database.  The module will need to either be edited to reflect the new structure or (easier) removed and re-imported from the DB\DHFiles\App folder under your Dynamics SL and then the public statement at the end of the module will need to be edited to match the original module.

It's really a simple task but if you are not familiar with Dynamics SL Customizations using VBA don't attempt it on your own.  Get someone to help you who is familiar with bot VBA and Customization Manager.  Your Dynamics SL Reseller should be able to help.

Testing of customizations should be a part of any upgrade.

Thanks for your detailed explanation, as you described there was a column missing from the VBA code and once corrected the customization functions with no error. I’ve forwarded the information to our vendor so they can correct the issue with their add-on.
