I am facing an scenario where original sales order is not updated with automatic packing slip after inter company sales order packing slip has been updated.
Setup is as follows
1 - I have setup inter company between two companies A and B. Where company A sells to its customer C on original sales order and creates a PO to company B to fulfill the requirement. In company B a sales order is created to company A with direct delivery
2 - The customer in selling company has "Auto create inter company orders" and "Direct delivery" both checked to yes
3 - The item has vendor selected as company B
4- Now as we create the sales order from company A to customer C we get intercompnay orders created automatically.
5- Now as we do packing slip update in company B the intercompany PO gets packing slip updated(Product receipt) but the original sales order is still open.
6 - The original sales order packing slip is not posted.
Any idea, To me setup looks fine
