Hi Expert,

The issue at the Asset KPIs report in Microsoft Dynamics 356 Finance and Operations.
The report correctly displays for fields like Total Time, Uptime, Downtime, and Availability % and fields related with them, but the Repair Time, Fail Rate, MRT fields appears as a blank (no values) or its not calculated.

Need your help and advice to solve this issue, please!!

    Your question text is empty.
It's difficult providing help if the only thing attached to the question is a screen shot.

    It comes from work orders.

    Repair time:

    Number of faults:

Repair time = Posted hours in work order journals
MRT = Mean repair time = Repair time / Number of faults
    Fail rate = 1 / MinimumOne(MTBF)
MTBF means "Mean time between failures"
Fail rate is zero in my case due to my bad test data; I only have a single failure for this asset.

Thank you very much, Mr. Jones, for your detailed explanation.

I have already tried following that approach, but unfortunately, no results appeared in the Repair Time field. I'm wondering if there might be an issue with the category configuration that’s preventing the data from reflecting correctly in the KPIs report. Could you please advise if there's a specific setup we need to check or correct to ensure it reflects properly?

    Looking forward to your feedback!

Have you activated "Total" on the asset type that you have added the work order to?

No, I don't activate the total because on the first when I activated it that does not appear any value in the KPIs report so because that I have turned off and not activated that.

    Okay, this is odd..
The next best thing I can think of is that the from-date and to-date in the KPI calculation dialog is wrong.

How can I ensure that the from-date and to-date I am selecting are not incorrect?
I usually just pick any date range without relying on anything specific.
Could you please confirm if the Project Category Setup that I shared previously is correct?
I’ve already posted the work hours in the Journal, but the Repair Time field still does not show any value.

It's not certain that the from-date and to-date specified in the KPI calculation catches the work orders placed.

Think your category looks fine. My category looks like this
