DIXF: Importing Budget Register Data with Ledger Dimension

Hi all,

I'm using AX 2012 R3 and want to upload my data which is Budget register entry. At the line there is field Ledger dimension which the value should be main account - cost center (for example : 61000101-SALES)

On my DMF - Source Data Format, in tab Application, I have selected (checked) Cost center in Dimension Code while Chart of account delimiter is default '-'

At the processing group I included the field LedgerDimension and in my csv I put 6100101-SALES.

But it return error saying "Dimension string separator is not formatted correctly. Check the parameter settings."

Can anyone help ?

    Hi Axel,

    You can try doing one thing if your setting is correct - create a single budget register entry manually and export that record using entity, you will get the exact format in 'Ledger dimension' field and then check import.

    go to DIXF module -setup-source data format- select source data, on the right hand you see application, in the field chart of account delimiter change it to be not similar to your data (select under score or |) then chnage in you excel data format the separator.

    That's all :)
