Virtual Server

Issue 1

We recently migrated from a physical server to a virtual server.  Since we have gone live, the connection to the server has been dropping sporadically throughout the day every day.

Several times the message says:

Report Server Windows Service (MSSQLSERVER) cannot connect to the report server database.

Issue 2

Some of our users are having issues saving files on the virtual server.  This morning, I saw the following message:

The description for Event ID 0 from source Office 2016 Licensing Service cannot be found.  Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted.  You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

Subscription licensing service failed: - 1073418220

I would start by asking IT to check how your network interface cards are configured in your host server for your images. It sounds like this may be a disconnect or a bandwidth problem.
