We have many built-in fields that we don't use on certain entities, is there a way to remove these from the add column lookup when configured column views?

Thanks for any help

If you are referring to having them as options during the creation of an Advanced Find, open the fields within the customize the system area and remove "Search capabilities".

The only way to remove them as an option to add as a column is to actually delete the field from CRM.

Yes, we've done that - we need to remove it from the "add column" area when setting up views, etc.

Sorry, you are going to have to delete the fields from CRM if you want that to happen.
